Here is a little snippet from the governments petition web page - regarding UK vehicle taxing…..

The idea of tracking every vehicle at all times is sinister and wrong. Road pricing is already here with the high level of taxation on fuel. The more you travel - the more tax you pay.

Please Mr Blair - forget about road pricing and concentrate on improving our roads to reduce congestion.

This is the text that came with the original email. I’m not sure about the facts and figures, but I think you will kind of get the idea.

The government’s proposal to introduce road pricing will mean you having topurchase a tracking device for your car and paying a monthly bill to use it. The tracking device will cost about £200 and in a recent study by the BBC, the lowest monthly bill was £28 for a rural florist and £194 for a delivery driver. A non working mum who used the car to take the kids to school paid £86 in one month.

Kevin “bloody” Wilson. What a laugh. My girlfriend’s dad took me to see Kevin bloody Wilson last friday……what a laugh. I’ve not seen him before, but obviously knew a couple of his songs. I am contemplating signing up for the SportsDo portal. The question is - Does anyone use this already? Have you used SportsDo? Have you any SportsDo top tips. I would be interested in finding out.

At last my skiing holiday to Borovets, Bulgaria has been booked. I have just finished reading this little book by a chap called John Perkins.

It’s quite an interesting read, giving an opinion, allegedly from the “inside” about how the FBI and US government uses large US businesses to take over the world.

It becomes a bit evanglical towards the end, but it’s an interesting read. I have to say, it does make you stop and think a little though. I also have no doubt that larges parts of this book are totally true. I would say buy this book - it will if nothing else confirm an opinion that you may already have.

With the ski season fast approaching and the excitement mounting - I thouhgt I would preview a couple of books to get you in the mood. Whether you are skiing in the Alps, Skiing in Bulgaria or planning a skiing trip to Canada, I’m sure these will be of some help.
